From 1995-98, Christopher Pike wrote a series of books for younger readers, Spooksville. It was basically his answer to R.L. Stine's juggernaut Goosebumps.
There were 24 Spooksville titles, and in 2013 the books were adapted into a TV series on the Hub network, lasting one season and 22 episodes.
And guess what? You can watch those episodes over at Internet Archive!
